Forming Lifelong Disciples

Our faith formation programs are not just for kids! We work to make opportunities to available to all ages and stages of life.

Children are welcome in worship! Sunday school classes are held during the school year for ages PK through 5th grade, after services at 10:15 a.m.  We also partner with Metigoshe Ministries to provide innovative day camps, early-out camps, and summer camp camperships.

• Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade 
  • Sundays, 10:15-11am
  • Wednesdays, 6:30-7pm

First Lutheran supports the Pierce County Food Pantry, Lutheran Disaster Response, and other local and global agencies.  We partner with Metigoshe Ministries throughout the year for programming both here and at the Christian Center. Our quilters made and sent over 200 quilts this year to Lutheran World Relief!  Women of the ELCA (WELCA) members serve and connect with women all over the region and the synod.
